Chesterbrook Academy Preschoolers Donate Toys to Children in Need

Pre-K students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Aldie recently donated more than 30 toys and gifts for Toys for Tots, a gift drive run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Over the past month, students worked together to collect the items to benefit local children in need. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others and giving back to the community, especially during the holiday season.

Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by Marines and volunteers offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime.
