Dominon High School Threat Not Credible: Police

A student used social media Tuesday night to threaten Dominion High, but the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office deems the threat not credible.

STERLING, VA — A student made threats on social media Tuesday night targeting Dominion High School, 21326 Augusta Drive, but the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office investigated and found the threats not to be legitimate. Even so, additional deputies will be at the school Wednesday as a precaution.

The student who made the social media post was identified and located. Police searched the student's home and found firearms that belonged to a relative. The guns were removed from the home. Police are continuing to investigate the bogus threat in conjunction with Loudoun County Public Schools.
