Don't Leave Your Vehicle Running and Unattended
Loudoun County Sheriff's Office: One vehicle stolen, another burglarized over weekend.
Leaving your car running to warm it up in cold weather can lead to a break-in or worse, as two Sterling residents found out over the weekend.
Loudoun County police reported the recovery of a 2005 Dodge Ram pickup truck Saturday night after it was left running and unlocked outside a restaurant in the 200 block of East Holly Avenue in Sterling, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. The police responded at 10:37 p.m., when the owner reported it stolen.
