Drunk Elementary School Teacher Arrested In Sterling: Police

BREAKING: A second-grade teacher at Sterling Elementary was arrested Friday for being drunk and having an open container of booze: LCSO.

STERLING, VA — A second-grade teacher at Sterling Elementary School was arrested during classes Friday for being drunk and having an open container of alcohol, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Claire M. Bucher, 25, of Potomac Falls, was charged with being drunk in public and possessing or drinking an alcoholic beverage in a public school or on public school grounds during school hours.

Shortly before 2 p.m., school staff members notified a Loudoun Sheriff's Office school resource officer about the situation. As of Friday night, she was being held until sober.
