DUI Checkpoint Friday in Loudoun County
A DUI checkpoint will be held Friday night somewhere in Loudoun County, so beware. That's the word from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA—St. Patrick's Day revelers would be wise not to push their luck this weekend when it comes to getting behind the wheel of a vehicle. Namely, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office will be on full alert for impaired drivers, including a sobriety checkpoint Friday night.
LCSO head Mike Chapman put it bluntly in a release: "Be responsible or risk a DUI. If you are going to celebrate this weekend with alcohol, designate a sober driver before your celebration begins."
Toward that end, the Washington Regional Alcohol Program will offer free Lyft rides from 4 p.m. Saturday through 4 a.m. Sunday as part of the DC-area SoberRide program.
