ASHBURN, VA — One student assaulted another at Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn last month, according to a report from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The incident occurred on Feb. 25, police said.
Investigators said the assault began as a fight between two female students in a bathroom. During their encounter, one of the girls prevented the other from leaving the area. Now, she faces charges of strangulation, assault, and abduction by force.
Authorities have not publicly identified either of the students to protect their privacy. Neither of the students suffered serious injuries, according to the sheriff's office.
