Loudoun Teen Found Guilty Of Assaulting Girl In Bathroom: Report
A judge ruled that a 14-year-old boy sexually assaulted a girl in a bathroom at Stone Bridge High School in May.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A 14-year-old boy was found guilty of sexually assaulting a classmate in a bathroom at Stone Bridge High School in May. The ruling occurred during an adjudicatory hearing in Loudoun Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, according to a report from WTOP.
The boy, who has not been publicly identified to protect his identity, was found guilty of one count of forcible sodomy and one count of forcible fellatio.
A disposition for the boy, which is equivalent to a sentencing in an adult's court case, is scheduled to be announced on Nov. 15, WTOP reported. On Nov. 15, the boy will also have a hearing in another sexual assault that occurred in a classroom at Broad Run High School in October.

An attorney representing the family of the girl who was the victim in the first assault released a statement on Monday praising the court's decision. Patch has chosen not to identify the girl by her family name to protect her identity.
"We are relieved that justice was served," Bill Stanley of the Stanley Law Firm said in a news release. "This horrible incident has deeply affected the family, and they are grateful for today's outcome."

The law firm also noted is still plans to pursue civil legal action against the Loudoun County school system. Attorneys claim administrators and officials within Loudoun County Public Schools failed to protect students by allowing the boy to transfer schools after the initial sexual assault was reported in May.
