Graffiti Found in Ashburn Pedestrian Tunnel
Vandalism is latest in string of incidents dating back to last summer.

Loudoun County police are investigating the latest incident of graffiti in the area - in this case, vulgar language and images scrawled on the walls of a pedestrian tunnel.
The graffiti was discovered at 7:35 p.m. Wednesday by a county sheriff’s deputy on patrol in the area of Ashburn Village Parkway and Bruceton Mills Circle in Ashburn. The local homewners association was contacted, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office has been investigating similar reports of graffiti in other parts of Ashburn, including markings disparaging Hindu culture that appeared last summer in the Brambleton area.
And Loudoun sheriff’s deputies detained two young adult suspects on Dec. 26 after investigating potentially hate-based graffiti reported in a pedestrian tunnel near Waxpool Road.

In October, six school buses were spray-painted with graffiti near Stone Bridge High School.
