Hit-And-Run Driver Busted In Ashburn: LCSO
A hit-and-run driver was arrested Friday following a crash in Ashburn, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

ASHBURN, VA—A hit-and-run driver was arrested Friday following a crash in the area of Farmwell Road and Ice Rink Plaza, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Walter A. Chavez, 29, of Ashburn, was charged with felony hit and run, driving without a driver's license and failure to yield the right of way.
Around 3:30 p.m., police responded to a reported two-vehicle crash. They found that as a vehicle went through a green light on Farmwell Road, a vehicle driven by Chavez turned left in front of it, causing the crash. Chavez didn't stop but ultimately was tracked down by police and arrested.
