Hit-&-Run Leads To Bevy Of Charges In Sterling: Police
A man faces a slew of serious criminal charges following a hit-and-run incident Thursday in Sterling: Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

STERLING, VA—A man faces a slew of serious criminal charges following a hit-and-run incident early Thursday at the intersection of Smith Switch Road and Waxpool Road, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Darwin D. Ramirez, 23, of Sterling, was charged with DWI, hit and run, driving without a license and drinking while operating a motor vehicle.
Around 12:45 a.m., according to police, a vehicle was making a left turn from Smith Switch Road onto Waxpool Road when another vehicle rear-ended it and then took off. He was spotted shortly thereafter in the area of Glenn Drive and Sterling Boulevard and arrested.
