Home Burglarized During Yard Sale In Sterling: Police

A man entered a home during a yard sale Saturday and stole foreign currency from an upstairs bedroom in Sterling: LCSO.

STERLING, VA—A man entered a home during a yard sale Saturday and stole foreign currency from an upstairs bedroom in the 0 block of Tyler Lane, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Ghawsudin Sadr, 56, of Sterling, was charged with larceny.

Around 11:30 a.m., police arrived and were told by the homeowner that after he confronted Sadr, Sadr ran to his vehicle, a taxi. When approached by police, he refused to cooperate. So police got a search warrant for the vehicle and arrested Sadr.
