On the Road

At 7:32 a.m., the left side of I-66 eastbound was blocked by a crash at VA-28. Delays stretched for four miles.

At 7:08 a.m., the eastbound Opitz Boulevard Ramp to I-95 in Woodbridge was partially blocked on the right side due to a reported crash and off-road activity.

Throughout the morning, a work zone blocked two right lanes of westbound I-66 near Prince William Parkway.

Throughout the morning, drivers will note a new traffic pattern on eastbound I-66 between Nutley Street and the Capital Beltway. The left lane is blocked.

On the Rails

On the Orange Line, the Minnesota Ave, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover and New Carrollton remain closed through Labor Day due to a summer platform improvement project. Local and express shuttles are available at Stadium-Armory.

Weather

High temperatures are expected to reach 87 degrees on Tuesday with mostly sunny skies.
