Identity Theft His Resident Hard in Chantilly: Police
Credit cards were opened and accounts for wireless phone numbers were opened, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

CHANTILLY, VA — Here's an example of why folks repeatedly are warned to protect their personal information, as provided by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
In the past couple of weeks, a resident in the 42000 block of Golf View Drive received phone calls from two department stores and was informed someone tried to use the resident's personal identification to open credit card accounts.
The resident then checked into it and found the personal information also had been used to open a credit card with a Delaware bank.

But there's more. The information also had been used to open four wireless phone numbers.
