Kids Approached By Suspicious Stranger In Ashburn: Police

ASHBURN, VA—A man allegedly approached two young children Saturday at a playground behind Steuart Weller Elementary School and asked them to go with him somewhere, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The man is described as white and in his 30s.

The reporting witness told police he saw the man approach the two kids, and heard them say they weren't going with him. That's when he interrupted and escorted the children back to their mother. He told her what he'd seen, and she thanked him before leaving with the kids. She didn't report the incident to police.
