Deadline For Registering To Vote In Loudoun County For Nov. 2 VA Election Is Tuesday Night

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Time is running out for unregistered voters in Loudoun County who wish to participate in the Nov. 2 general election in Virginia.

For Loudoun residents who are not registered to vote or need to update their address, the voter registration deadline is this Tuesday by 5 p.m. in-person, 11:59 p.m. online, or postmarked by mail on Oct. 12.

Early voting began Sept. 17 for the Virginia general election, which will decide races for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and House of Delegates.

Here are important dates coming up in Loudoun County for the Nov. 2 general election:

Voter Registration Deadlines

• Online - Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 11:59 p.m. - www.vote.virginia.gov.
• In-person - Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 5 p.m.
• By-mail - Postmarked no later than Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 5 p.m.

Early and Absentee Voting

• Last day to request ballot be mailed to you is Friday, Oct. 22 at 5 p.m.
• Last day to vote absentee in-person is Saturday, Oct. 30

• Early voting hours - Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm.
• Extended hours - Tuesday, Oct. 19, Thursday, Oct. 21, Tuesday, Oct. 26 and Thursday, Oct. 28. Office remains open until 7 p.m.
• Sunday, Oct. 24. Office will be open from noon to 5 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 30. Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Early voting starts Oct. 18
• Weekday hours from Oct. 18 through Oct. 30: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday, noon to 7:00 pm.
• Saturday hours on Oct. 23 and Oct. 30 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Saturday hours on Oct. 23 and Oct. 30 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
