Leesburg Man Arrested For One Loudoun Assault In Ashburn UPDATE

ASHBURN, VA—A Leesburg man was arrested Wednesday for assaulting a man Sunday outside the Sense of Thai restaurant in the 20000 block of Exchange Street at One Loudoun, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Dashawn L. Russell, 24, was charged with felony malicious wounding.

The victim, whose name hasn't been released, was assaulted around 1:30 a.m. and taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. He remains hospitalized but is in stable condition. The restaurant itself wasn't involved but provided police with footage from its surveillance camera. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call police at 703-777-0475.
