Lift Every Voice event at UU Congregation of Sterling, Oct 21

The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Sterling presents "Lift Every Voice," an evening of songs and stories, on Friday, October 21, 6:30 - 8:30 pm. George Mason University musicians John Kim and Bobby Lacy II will lead songs from the African American Spiritual tradition and the Civil Rights Era. Hear about the origins, meaning, and power of music to build bridges of understanding among folks of all backgrounds. Share a potluck dish as well as your memories. $5.00 donations are accepted.
