Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman and members of the sheriff’s office surprised Stahl at her crossing guard Friday morning with flowers and a plaque recognizing her three decades of service to the community. Stahl has worked as a crossing guard at many public schools across the county, including Guilford Elementary School, Sterling Middle School, and Sully Elementary School.

When asked what she planned to do after her shift today, Stahl replied, “Another 30 years.”
