Loudoun Electoral Board Seeks Election Officers
Paid Election Day work requires training; high students can work as pages.

The Loudoun County Electoral Board seeks several hundred new election officers to work the county’s 85 precincts on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6.
Election officers receive $100 for their service, plus another $20 for a required training session. The Election Day work hours are 5 a.m. until all post-election paperwork is finished, usually between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m. Half-day shifts are available — from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. or from noon to completion — for those who cannot work the full day.
All election officers must attend a training session, most of which are set for the last week of September and the first week of October.
