Loudoun Ponders Stadium Admissions Tax
Tax would require enabling legislation from the General Assembly; apply to all events at any professional or semi-professional stadium in the county.

Among the items the Loudoun Board of Supervisors will consider sending with state legislators to next year’s General Assembly session in Richmond is a request to tax stadium admissions.
While, as proposed, the request would apply to all events at any stadium used by professional or semi-professional sports teams, the primary target is the stadium planned for the Loudoun Hounds — .
The request came from the Hounds, with the idea the tax would be returned to pay for construction of the stadium, which is approved near the Route 7/Route 28 interchange in the planned Kincora development.
