LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Loudoun County will soon have its first ever Women's Hall of Fame. The initiative is being established by the Loudoun Coalition for Women and Girls.

In a news release, LCWAG officials said the hall of fame will "share the stories of the women who are shaping Loudoun’s history in the Arts, Community Service, Education, Leadership, Health, Science, Social Justice, and Business."

The hall of fame is now accepting nominations for its inaugural class of women. Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Feb. 22. The honorees will be announced in March to coincide with women's history month. The nominated women must live or work in Loudoun County to be recognized.
