Man Arrested For Hit-And-Run Crash in Sterling: Police

Earl T. Barnes III, 31, of Sterling, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, crashed his ride into the rear of another and fled.

STERLING, VA — A man was arrested early Saturday morning after crashing into another vehicle in the 300 block of Oak Tree Lane and then fleeing the scene.

Earl T. Barnes III, 31, of Sterling, was charged with hit and run, driving while suspended and driving under the influence.

Shortly after 2:30 a.m., police responded to the scene where a witness said a Ford Explorer crashed into the rear of an unoccupied Dodge 3500.

After fleeing, the driver was found and arrested at East Church Road and East Laurel Avenue.
