Man Arrested For Robberies In Dulles: Police

A man was arrested Sunday for robbing two businesses in less than an hour Saturday in the Dulles South area, according to the LCSO.

ASHBURN, VA—A man was arrested Sunday for robbing two businesses in less than an hour Saturday in the Dulles South area, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Eugene Copeland, 34, of Ashburn, was charged with two counts of robbery.

In the first incident, shortly after 7:30 a.m., Copeland walked into the Sunoco A-Plus in the 43000 block of Defender Drive, implied he had a gun and ordered the employee to give him money from the cash register. He received it and then fled on foot.

Then, shortly after 8 a.m., he walked into a store in the 24000 block of Pinebrook Drive and went through the same drill, again fleeing on foot afterward. No one was injured in either incident.
