Man Arrested For Suspicious Contact With Child In Sterling: LCSO

A man was arrested Wednesday in connection to a suspicious incident involving a young girl last Friday in Sterling: LCSO.

STERLING, VA — A man was arrested Wednesday in connection to a suspicious incident last Friday during which he approached a young girl, hugged her and kissed her neck, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Angel A. Bustillo-Rivera, 52, was charged with simple assault.

The incident was reported Saturday in the area of Route 7 and North Amelia Street. A resident said that on the previous day the resident's daughter was walking home on a trail when she was approached, hugged and kissed on the neck by an unknown male.

Such sporadic and seemingly isolated incidents have occurred in the county the past few months, and police have issued warnings for citizens to be on alert.
