Man Assaulted By Stranger in South Riding: Police

SOUTH RIDING, VA — A man was assaulted by a male stranger in the wee hours of Tuesday morning in a parking lot in the 43000 block of Peacock Market Plaza, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect is described as white, 6-3 and wearing a black hooded sweat jacket.

Around 2 a.m., the victim told police the man approached him in a confrontational manner and the assaulted him.

Minor injuries were reported and the suspect fled the scene on foot.
