Man Assaults Cops In Asbhburn: Police

A man allegedly assaulted a patron at a restaurant Wednesday and then assaulted police who responded to the scene in Ashburn: LCSO.

ASHBURN, VA — A man allegedly assaulted a patron at a restaurant in the wee hours of Wednesday morning and then assaulted police who responded to the report in the 43000 block of Central Station Drive, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Noland A. Moser, 25, of Leesburg, was charged with assault, assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and public intoxication.

Shortly before 1 a.m., police responded to the scene for a reported assault. The victim said a man at the restaurant assaulted him. Moser then resisted arrest and assaulted deputies. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries and then taken to jail.
