Man Assaults Woman During Custody Swap In Ashburn: LCSO

ASHBURN, VA—A man was arrested Saturday afternoon after assaulting a woman during a child custody drop-off and then hitting another vehicle while fleeing in the 43000 block of Stonegarden Terrace, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Kirk D. Holland, 25, of Ashburn, was charged with robbery, domestic assault, prevent call to 9-1-1 and hit and run.

Shortly before 1 p.m., according to police, Holland assaulted her while dropping off a child, and then grabbed her cell phone. He fled in his vehicle and then hit an occupied vehicle. He was later found by police and taken to jail, where he was held without bond.
