Man Attacked In Ashburn Shopping Plaza Parking Lot: Sheriff

ASHBURN, VA — Multiple people are facing charges after they allegedly surrounded a man in the parking lot of Ashburn Shopping Plaza before threatening and assaulting him.

According to a Loudoun County Sheriff's Office report, the incident happened around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. The victim said he was approached in the parking lot by a female and five males, and according to police, the victim knew the woman and some of the men.

Police said the woman and three men surrounded the victim before threatening and assaulting him. The victim, who sustained no injuries, was able to free himself and run away on foot.

Several of the suspects have been identified, according to officials. Christian T. Knock, 20, of Ashburn, and Summer Mirzian, 19, of Ashburn, were charged with assault by mob. Knock was later released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a $1,500 bond and Mirzian on a personal recognizance bond.

Charges against two other suspects are still outstanding.
