Man Attacks, Robs Three People In Sterling: Police

Three people were assaulted and robbed by an unknown man Thursday in Sterling, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

STERLING, VA — Three people were assaulted and robbed by an unknown man Thursday in the area of North Fillmore Avenue and Fletcher Road, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. He's described as black, 25-40 years old, tall and with a heavy build. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and Nike Air Jordan sneakers.

The victim told police they were getting out of their vehicle when confronted by the man. He demanded money and then took a victim's purse. He then hit another victim, and took a cell phone from another victim. He then fled, and police searched the area to no avail.
