Man Killed In Two-Vehicle Sterling Crash

A Sterling man was killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash on Harry Byrd Highway (Route 7) near City Center Boulevard: LCSO.

STERLING, VA—A Sterling man was killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash on Harry Byrd Highway (Route 7) near City Center Boulevard, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Jose A. Rosas-Mendez, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shortly after 11 p.m., police responded to the scene for a reported crash. They found that Rosas-Mendez lost control of his Toyota, crossed over the median and hit an oncoming Pontiac. The driver of the Pontiac was taken to a local hospital with injuries not considered life threatening; same with the two passengers in the Toyota.
