Man Robs Extended Stay Hotel Friday in Sterling

An unknown man is wanted for the early morning robbery Friday of the Extended Stay Hotel in Sterling: Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

STERLING, VA — An unknown man is wanted for the early morning robbery Friday of the Extended Stay Hotel, 46000 block of Waterview Plaza, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The suspect is described as being dark-skinned and 6-2. He was wearing a red hood sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Shortly before 1 a.m., police responded to the scene. An employee said the man entered the hotel and demanded money. He implied he had a gun but never displayed one. After receiving an unknown amount of cash, he immediately fled the scene.
