Missing Man Sought In Sterling: Police

STERLING, VA—Police are looking for a man with a possible physical impairment missing since Tuesday afternoon and last seen that night in the area of Aklgonkian Regional Park, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Harry Schmalz, 56, is described as 5-9, 200 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing cargo shorts, a polo shirt with a khaki vest and a khaki bucket hat adorned with fishing lures.

He was reported to have left his residence on his way to Great Falls Park. He's an avid fisherman known to take walks in the regional parks. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-1021.
