Motorcycle Crash Kills Man in Purcellville: Police

PURCELLVILLE, VA — A man was killed last week in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in the area of Harpers Ferry Road and Kidwell Road, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Around 10 a.m. last Thursday, police received a missing person report from a family in the area of Sawmill Lane who said the man had been missing since the previous evening. He said he was going to go to a friend's house in Road Hill.

Police searched the area and found the crash, and said the driver died at the scene.
