Northern Virginia Professional Administrative Network Fall Education Conference

A networking and educational opportunity for administrative professionals who are serious about career growth.

The Northern Virginia Professional Administrative Network is holding its first Fall Education Conference on Tuesday, October 6, 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM, at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Waxpool Rd, Ashburn VA.

Here’s why you should consider attending

  • It’s always good to hear from administrative colleagues from other companies - no matter how big or small they are. By attending this conference, you will learn some techniques others use to make various tasks less complicated.
  • Are you applying for a promotion or a new job? You will get to hear from a Big-Four company person who has lots of input on the hiring process. She will tell you what you need to know to make a good impression during the interview.
  • Topics concerning performance evaluations are becoming more popular. Several companies are following Deloitte’s lead and doing away with the traditional performance evaluation process. In the mean-time, if you still face the dreaded evaluation function, you need to know how to do a self-assessment that works to your advantage. You will hear from an HR manager who has worked in HR for several years .
  • You will meet intelligent, friendly women who inspire each other. The NOVA PAN members are the absolute best administrative professionals. Several are Certified Administrative Professionals.
  • OneNote is a technical tool that every administrative professional needs to know how to use. You should at least know the basics; and you will by attending the conference.
  • You will earn a Certificate of Completion for each topic that is presented.
