Not Done Shopping? Try ‘Last Minute Perfection’

If you’re trying to find some final gifts as the big day closes in, but need a break from the local malls, check out Gateway Gallery in Round Hill this weekend, which is holding a “Last Minute Perfection” event Saturday.

The gallery will offer refreshments and holiday music, while many of its member artists take questions about their work.

The gallery – a co-operative of 23 local artists who volunteer their time and talents – offers functional and decorative items for the home. Pottery, porcelain and jewelry and much more are among the co-op’s offerings. The newest artist at Gateway, Kara Laughlin, brings embroidered jewelry, ornaments and items to the mix.

The gallery is open from 11 to 6 Wednesday through Sunday through the end of December, so Saturday and Sunday are the last chances to shop there before Christmas. Information and directions can be found on the gallery website.
