Numerous Car Break-Ins Reported in Loudoun County: Police
Loudoun County Sheriff's Office says one theft involved a stolen handgun from an unlocked car.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Several unlocked vehicles have been breached the past few days in the area, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, leading to the obvious conclusion that it's best to keep them locked while unattended and never leave valuables inside.
For example, a handgun was stolen overnight from an unlocked car in the 43000 block of Felicity Place in Ashburn.
And a vehicle in the 43000 block of Kittiwake Drive in Leesburg was rummaged through but nothing was stolen.

Another victim reported golf clubs were stolen from the trunk of a vehicle in the 19000 block of Mill Site Place in Leesburg, although it's not clear whether the vehicle was locked.
