Good morning, Northern Virginia. Here's everything you need to know for your Monday morning commute.

Here are the latest traffic updates that will impact your morning commute on Monday, July 11.

On the Road

As of 6 a.m., the left lane of I-395 northbound near VA-27 was blocked by debris.

At 6:24 a.m., there was a crash on I-395 northbound near Duke Street. The crash was cleared around 7 a.m., though delays remained.

The I-66 eastbound ramp to eastbound US-50 is blocked for a workzone. Drivers should follow the detour.

At 6:50 a.m., there were reports of malfunctioning traffic lights on River Creek Parkway both directions at Fort Evans Road and Riverside Parkway.

At 7:07 a.m., a gas leak was reported on VA-236 Main Street near Pickett Road. Drivers should watch out for emergency vehicles and response.

At 7:14 a.m., there was a crash on northbound I-95 near the Dale Boulevard exit in Prince William County. No lanes were closed for the crash, though there may be some delays from rubbernecking.

At 7:18 a.m., there was a disabled vehicle on I-495 northbound at mile marker 47.5. No lanes were closed, but drivers should use caution just south of I-66 exit 49C on I-495.

At 7:30 a.m. on VA-7/Leesburg Pike, the left side of the eastbound ramp to I-66 was blocked by an animal that was struck.

At 7:35 a.m., the right lane of northbound I-95 near the Dale City exit was crowded due to a crash.

At 7:37 a.m., there was a crash on westbound Great Falls Street near Southridge Drive. Drivers should proceed with caution by the crash.

At 7:40 a.m., another crash was reported on northbound I-95 at mile marker 156, half a mile south of the Dale Boulevard exit. Drivers should use caution in the area, though no lanes were closed.

At 7:40 a.m., there was a crash on VA-7 eastbound near Stoneleigh Drive.

At 7:50 a.m., there was a crash reported on I-395/Southeast-Southwest Freeway westbound after Maine Avenue.

At 7:54 a.m., a crash occurred on DC-295 southbound near Pennsylvania Avenue.

At 7:52 a.m., there was a crash on I-495/Beltway Thru Lanes Inner Loop near I-295.

At 7:53 a.m., there was a crash on I-95 southbound after VA-234 near Dumfries.

At 8 a.m., there was a crash reported affecting both directions of US-29 near Gallows Road.

At 8:05 a.m., there was a crash on northbound US-1 near North Kings Highway.

On the Rails

Several Orange Line Metro stations were shut down for the summer improvement project. Shuttles are being provided. The affected stations are Minnesota Avenue, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover, and New Carrollton. The station closures are expected to continue through Sept. 5. Riders can take the shuttle bus beginning at the Stadium-Armory station.

DC Area Weather

There will be plenty of sunshine around the region on Monday as highs reach around 85 degrees with a heat index near 90. There will be minimal cloud cover and almost no chance of precipitation with slight winds out of the south and southeast.
