Party Crashers Assault Host, Steal Items: Loudoun Crime Report

Police in Loudoun County are investigating after five party crashers assaulted a man and took items on Sunday night in Ashburn.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Deputies in Loudoun County are looking for five men who crashed a party in Ashburn on Sunday. Police said the men damaged property, stole items, and assaulted the party host.

Other notable incidents around Loudoun County included a kidnapping scam in Ashburn and a girl who said she saw a masked person dress in all black come out of a treeline.

The party crashing incident occurred at a home in the 21300 block of Hornbeam Place in Ashburn on Sunday night. The victim told police that several uninvited men entered his home during the party. The men took items and damaged the property, according to the police report.

The victim said one of the men hit him when he confronted them, while another party crasher threatened a bystander.

Police have not been able to identify the suspects, though physical descriptions are available on the sheriff's office website.

On Tuesday around 11 p.m. in Ashburn, deputies received a report of a suspicious incident. A girl said that she was walking along Calhoun Corners Terrace when she saw a masked person in all black clothing walk out of the tree line. The girl ran home, police said.

Another caller said they heard someone yelling. Deputies searched the area, but they did not find anyone matching the description.

In Sterling, a woman told deputies that she received a call from someone who said they had her daughter and were holding her for ransom, police said.. The caller told the victim to wire money to secure the release of her daughter. The woman complied and later realized it was scam.
