Pedestrian Hospitalized After Being Hit By Vehicle In Sterling

A woman was hospitalized Wednesday after being hit by a vehicle in the intersection of Old Ox Road and Rock Hill Road in Sterling: LCSO

STERLING, VA — A woman was hospitalized Wednesday after being hit by a vehicle in the intersection of Old Ox Road and Rock Hill Road, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The woman was taken to Reston Hospital for treatment of injuries not considered life threatening.

Shortly before 3:30 p.m., police responded to the scene. An investigation found that the woman apparently trying to cross the intersection against the pedestrian signal and stepped in front of an oncoming vehicle. The driver remained on the scene.
