Ashburn Homeowner Startles Burglar
Suspect tried to enter home through garage, says Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

An Ashburn homeowner scared away a burglar who walked into his house early Thursday, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident took place at 1:34 a.m. in the 22500 block of Forest Manor Drive, a police report stated. The homeowner told police that he was inside his home when the interior door to the garage opened. He then saw an unknown male walk into the house.

The homeowner shouted and the suspect fled the home, the report said. The suspect was described by police as possibly a white male wearing tan-colored clothes and gloves.
The homeowner found that the garage door had been left open and the interior garage door was unlocked. A wallet was discovered missing from one of the homeowner’s vehicles, the report said.
