Police: Attempt To Break Up Party Turns Into Brawl
Two young men arrested in Saturday night incident, says Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff’s deputies got into a brawl Saturday night while trying to break up a loud party in Sterling, and two young men were arrested, said the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded at 10:46 p.m. to a loud noise complaint at a party in the 46700 block of Middlefield Drive, the sheriff’s office said. As they began to help close the party down, one man was seen relieving himself in the middle of a nearby parking lot. As the deputies approached him, he threw a beer can at them.

As the deputies tried to take the individual, identified as Diego Delao, 19, of Leesburg, into custody, he became more combative, the sheriff’s office said. As they tried to detain him, a large group of people approached the deputies in an aggressive manner.
Delao was charged with two counts of assault on law enforcement, obstruction of justice and underage possession of alcohol. As the deputies tried to take him back to a patrol cruiser, they were assaulted by members of the crowd, the sheriff’s office said.

The deputies tried to maintain crowd control. One individual grabbed Delaoand and attempted to pull him away from the deputy who held him, the sheriff’s office said.
That individual, Rogelio De La O Munoz, 21, of Bristow, was charged with obstruction of justice and being drunk in public. One deputy was treated at a local hospital for injuries sustained in the incident.
