Police: Woman Answers Knock at Door, Sees Flasher

Suspect in Sterling incident is at large, says Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

The Loudoun County police are working to track down the man who exposed himself Friday night to a woman in a Sterling apartment building.

The incident occurred at 8:39 p.m. Friday at an apartment building in the 1600 block of Brethour Court, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

A resident heard a knock at her apartment door, opened the door, looked down the hallway, and saw a man exposing himself, the sheriff’s office said. The victim closed the door and contacted authorities.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man, possibly in his mid-20s, with a thin build. Deputies searched the area, but could not locate the suspect.
