Road Rage With Gun in Sterling: Police
A man who thought he was being followed threatened another driver with a gun Wednesday, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

STERLING, VA — Road rage manifests itself in many ways, be it an extended honk of the horn, perhaps the universal one-finger salute or something as benign as a shaking of the head. And then there's that other kind of road rage, the ilk of which occurred Wednesday morning in the area of Bartholomew Fair Drive and Potomac Run Plaza, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
Yep, this is the type of road rage that's at best unnerving and, at worst, downright frightening. Shortly after 7:30 a.m., police responded to the scene of a reported incident. The victim told police he was driving behind a vehicle and both stopped at a traffic signal. But then the driver in front of him got out of his car and walked toward him waving a gun.

The gun-wielding man demanded to know why the victim was following him. Presumably the victim said he was doing no such thing, and the suspect departed. Even so, he's now a wanted man. He's described as white, 6-0 with a heavy build. He was driving a white car, possibly a Ford Crown Victoria.
