Road Rage Incident Ends With Whimper In Ashburn: Police

A case of road rage that could have turned ugly or worse instead ended with something of a relative whimper Tuesday in Ashburn: LCSO.

ASHBURN, VA — A case of road rage that could have turned ugly or worse instead ended with something of a relative whimper Tuesday night in the area of Route 7 and Lexington Drive, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Seems a man reported to police that for whatever reason, he was angrily cut off by the driver of a red Ford pickup. The man pulled over to the side of the road, ostensibly to avoid further confrontation. But the driver of the truck pulled over, as well. He got out of his truck, approached the other vehicle and. . .slammed his hand on the vehicle before getting back into his pickup and driving away.
