Robbery Suspects Sought In Sterling: LCSO
Police said Wednesday they're seeking the public's help in identifying two males who assaulted and robbed a man last week in Sterling.
STERLING, VA—Police said Wednesday they're seeking the public's help in identifying two males who assaulted and robbed a man last week near the 22000 block of South Sterling Boulevard. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office has released a composite sketch of the suspects, described below:
- One is described as Hispanic, around 17 to 20-years-old, with a medium build, clean-shaven and with short dark hair.
- The other is described as being of mixed race with a light complexion, around 17 to 20, 5-8, unshaven and with spiky dark hair. He was wearing a dark shirt and black jogger-style pants.
Shortly after midnight on Oct. 10, the two suspects approached the man while he was sleeping in the aforementioned area. One of them woke him up, demanded money and went through his wallet and pockets before taking a cell phone. The other suspect assaulted him before the two fled across Sterling Boulevard.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries not considered life threatening. Anyone with information is urged to call Detective T. Rodriguez at 703-777-1021.
