Route 28 Corridor Plan Open House Set for April 8

Loudoun planners continue to seek input about ways to drive economic development along the road.

Loudoun County has planned a second open house regarding the Route 28 Corridor Plan Zoning Ordinance Update to help educate the public about the proposed changes as well as listen to concerns and suggestions.

The open house – set for Monday, April 8, at Loudoun Water, 44865 Loudoun Water Way, in Ashburn – runs from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and includes a 6:30 p.m. presentation.

  • Learn about the corridor, the current status of the project, and ways to stay informed
  • Provide your thoughts and concerns to help shape the direction of this project

The Route 28 Corridor is emerging as an international gateway and an employment center for national and international businesses. The goal of the project is to identify potential changes to Loudoun’s Revised 1993 Zoning Ordinance that serve as incentives to drive economic development and fulfill desired goals in the corridor.
