Serial Phone Store Thief Sought In Loudoun: Police

Authorities in Loudoun have released video of man thought to be involved in a series of robberies at cell phone stores throughout the area.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Authorities in the county have released video surveillance of man thought to be involved in a series of robberies at cell phone stores in Ashburn, Sterling, Leesburg and Fairfax County, according to Loudoun County Police. He's described as black, in his late teens or early 20s, 5-7 and wearing a baseball cap, a red or orange hooded winter coat and jeans.

Around 7:30 p.m. last Friday, he went to a Verizon store at Ashburn Shopping Plaza and fled with several items. The same day, he's suspected of doing the same at a Verizon store in Leesburg. The day before, according to police, he went to the Verizon store at Town Center Plaza in Sterling and stole two iPhones from a display case.
