Sobriety Checkpoint Planned Friday In Loudoun County

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said the sobriety checkpoint will begin shortly after 10 p.m. tonight.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is planning a sobriety checkpoint tonight to crack down on drivers who are under the influence. The checkpoint will begin shortly after 10 p.m.

"The sobriety checkpoint is a reminder to residents to make the smart choice — don't drink and drive," Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman said in a release.

Members of the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Auxiliary Unit and volunteers from the Loudoun Chapter of MADD will assist with the checkpoint.
