Sterling Convenience Store Robbed By Man Wearing Scarf: Police
At a Sterling convenience store, a man implied he had a weapon and then demanded cash from a store clerk.

STERLING, VA — A convenience store at an Exxon in Sterling was robbed early Sunday morning, with the suspect fleeing the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said Sunday. No injuries were reported during the robbery.
The male suspect entered the convenience store on Glenn Drive around 3:19 a.m. Sunday and attempted to purchase cigarettes. The clerk asked for the person's identification and the man implied he had a weapon, threatened the clerk and demanded cash, according to the sheriff's office.
The suspect was described as a black male, late teens to early twenties, about six-feet tall, with a heavy build. The suspect was wearing a blue lightweight jacket, gray running type pants, a gray and black stocking cap, a gray patterned scarf covering the lower portion of the face, gray running shoes with neon green or yellow laces, and black and red gloves.

Loudoun County sheriff detectives released a video surveillance still of the suspect.
