Woman Charged In Connection With November Armed Robberies At Family Dollar, Little Caesars
A woman from Sterling was arrested on Wednesday and charged in connection with November robberies at Family Dollar and Little Caesars.

STERLING, VA — A Sterling woman was arrested on Wednesday and charged in connection with a pair of armed robberies that occurred in November, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The robberies occurred at Family Dollar and Little Caesars on Nov. 27 and Nov. 28.
Police identified the woman as 34-year-old Briar Ford. She is charged with one count of robbery, one count of attempted robbery, and two counts of using a firearm in commission of a felony.
Ford is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

If convicted of all charges, Ford could spend more than 35 years in prison, based on Virginia's sentencing guidelines.
On Nov. 27, police believe Ford entered the Family Dollar on Enterprise Street while armed with a gun. She walked up to the counter, pulled out the gun, and demanded money from the register, the sheriff's office said.

She then left the store with the cash.
On Nov. 28, an attempted robbery was reported at the Little Caesars on Enterprise Street in Sterling. Authorities said a woman entered the store, implied that she had a weapon, and demanded money from the register. She fled the store without any cash, the sheriff's office said.
